Portable DVD Players and Kids

My kids just love watching dvd's when we're travelling. Anybody who hasn't tried letting their kids watch movies when out on a long road trip is really missing out....my opinion.

Being able to play an entertaining movie on a portable player is such a blessing as it gives us parents a couple hours of piece and quiet, just at the point when you don't think you can't handle any more noise from the kids.

I'd like to hear back at get your opinions on how you think a portable dvd player improves your trips....or doesn't if you think so.
